Samsung Washer Diagnostics Help
Samsung Washer Service Mode:(Samsung Washer WA4 & WA5 Series Washers)
Press and hold 'Signal' and 'Extra Rinse' for 3 seconds with the washer control power on.
Samsung Washer Error Codes: (Samsung Washer WA4 & WA5 Series Washers)
While in the washer's Service Mode press 'SPIN' to display washer error codes. Turn the washer knob clockwise to see the last 9 error codes from most recent to oldest. Press 'Start/Pause' while the error code is displayed to see how many cycles have run since the error was recorded.
Samsung Washer Quick Test: (Samsung Washer WF3 Series Washers)
To start the quick test diagnostics press 'Spin', 'Soil', and 'Power' at the same time, all LEDs should light up with one beep.
- Displays software version for a sec.
(Ex. If S/W Version is 60, 7-Segment will display U060)
- After displaying the software version, 7-Segment will display the following
information for each model.

- F1 : WF326LAW, WF326LAS
- F2 : WF316LAW
- F2b: WF316BAC, WF316BAW
- F3 : WF306LAW
- F8b: WF306BHW
- EEEE : Model option Error (Need to replace PCB Assy.)
- When model information is being displayed, press the following keys to test
various components.

- Temp Key : Water Valve Test
- Spin Key : Motor Test
- Soil Level Key : Door Lock/Unlock Test
- Signal Key : Drain Pump Test.
Clear Samsung Washer Error Codes: (Samsung Washer WF3 Series Washers)
Press 'Delay Start', 'Signal', and 'Power' at the same time to reset the washer's error code memory and to reset the washer EEPROM program, this should be done whenever the washer's main control is replaced.
Samsung Washer Service Mode: (Samsung Washer WF4 Series Older Washers)
Press and hold 'Signal' and 'Extra Rinse' for 3 seconds with the washer control power on.

To see the latest recorded error codes press the 'Silver Care' key while in Service Mode. This should display a 'd' then turn the washer knob clockwise to see the last 9 error codes from most recent to oldest. Press 'Start/Pause' while the error code is displayed to see how many cycles have run since the error was recorded. To clear the washer errors from memory start a Quick Test Cycle. Once the Samsung Washer Quick Test Cycle is finished all washer errors will be erased! So make sure you recorded the errors before you start the Quick Test.
Samsung Washer Quick Test Mode: (Samsung Washer WF4 Series Older Washers)
NOTE!! Once the Samsung Washer Quick Test Cycle is finished all washer errors will be erased! So make sure you recorded the errors before you start the Quick Test. Press and hold 'Soil', 'Signal' and 'Power' with the power off. (This can be a bit tricky with the timing! I like to press the power button ever so slightly after the other two buttons.)
Samsung Washer Service Mode: (Samsung Washer WF4 Series Newer Washers)
Press and hold 'Signal' and 'Delayed Start' for 3 seconds with the washer control power on.
