Who makes Kenmore? Sears!... WRONG!
Surprise! Sears doesn't actually make any of the Kenmore appliances they sell in the Sears stores.
It's all advertising and marketing. Kind of like a shell game or slight of hand. Sears Kenmore appliances are actually created by any one of many different appliance manufacturers... Actually let me clarify that... There are actually very few appliance manufacturers left today, most have been gobbled up by the dominant few appliance producers over time. Who Makes That Brand
So when it comes to Sears Kenmore major home appliances, and who made yours there are really only 5 possibilities...
Sears Kenmore appliances are made by one of the following appliance manufacturers.

- Samsung

- Whirlpool appliances in years past had a reputation for great quality and functionality. However, if you get a Sears Kenmore appliance today that's built by Whirlpool bookmark this website because your probably going to need it.
- Samsung and LG produce much of the newer Frigidaire and Whirlpool appliance designs.
- GE's appliance division was just purchased by Haire
- So in a round about way if you buy a Kenmore appliance that, by the model number appears to be produced by GE, Whirlpool, Frigidaire, Maytag, etc. There is an increasingly good chance your Kenmore appliance was actually produced by LG, Samsung, or Haire.
