Machine Noises & Sounds

washer repair washerWashing machines are fairly simple appliances made of only a few moving parts capable of making sound.
Appliance repair people know that the same problem sounds and noises happen over an over again. I can’t count how many times I’ve listened to washing machines making a loud buzzing or clicking noise. An experienced appliance repair service tech will often know your washing machine’s problem within seconds of first hearing a noise.  My deaf uncle puts his hand on the top of a washer to feel its vibrations.  Sound can be an excellent tool for troubleshooting washing machine problems. Most of the noises you will hear are easy to recognize and point to a specific problem. Click on a speaker to listen to some washer noises.
